Once again, the Lord has graciously granted another set of 2026 chicken chicks — a little pair!
This mommy was up in the barn loft behind some buckets, and she and another mommy were sharing a bunch of eggs up there, but the other mommy quit, and then this mommy hatched one out, so we moved her and the youngin’ and her eggs into the summer kitchen.
With only a single, I was hoping the Lord would grant a sibling, just so it wasn’t alone, but it didn’t happen right away, so I figured that was it. But not too long after, lo and behold, there was suddenly another chick in there with them! So, we are thankful the single has a companion. 🙂
